Inventive Food Technology is hiring a Production Supervisor - Blending and Encapsulation to lead production operations in our cGMP dietary supplement manufacturing environment. You will supervise a team and temporary staff, focusing on meeting production goals while prioritizing safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
- Perform supervisory functions within a cGMP dietary supplement manufacturing environment.
- Monitor stock levels for expendable supplies and components used in the manufacturing process.
- Document employee performance, corrective action, and attendance.
- Review and sign off on work orders for cleanings, set-up, and production runs.
- Review batch records and associated documentation for completeness and correctness.
- Work with quality control to identify, document, and resolve quality and production issues.
- Accurately document any out-of-specification conditions per established procedures.
- Track work orders internally during the production process.
- Monitor and verify the accuracy and completeness of all production logs.
- Communicate changes to production orders, including quantities or schedule changes.
- Constantly monitor the production environment for compliance with cGMP requirements.
- Continually assess safety and ensure employees are working in a safe environment.
- Report and monitor any unsafe condition.
- Support the team to achieve the objectives of the shift.
- Monitor and support all training activities with the team.
- Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives in your area.
- Complete and verify documentation with accuracy.
- Supervise washroom personnel (inspect, evaluate, and train) to ensure standards are met and prevent product contamination.
- Support cross-functional work with other production departments and support functions on site.
- Complete daily paperwork associated with team activities.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working in a cGMP environment.
- Punctual and consistent attendance.
Nice to Have
- Passion for continuous improvement and safety.
- Experience in dietary supplement manufacturing (probiotic, enzyme, botanical categories).

You will supervise production employees and temporary staff, supporting cross-functional work with other departments on site.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation range: $68,400 - $85,500
Work Mode
This is an onsite position located in Clackamas, OR.
