Hyundai USA is seeking an Assistant Manager for Production Control Process Control. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing production plans, monitoring production processes, and leading the analysis of demand and forecasting. You will ensure production deadlines are met and facilitate communication between production departments.
What You'll Do
- Develop and modify production plans.
- Implement plans through monitoring and controlling the production process.
- Lead analysis of demand developments, forecasting, and planning of production.
- Lead the control of progress and initiate action when necessary.
- Develop daily or weekly production schedules to ensure deadlines are met.
- Establish mid- & long-term production plans reflecting capacity and constraints.
- Inform relevant departments of production plan changes and update documents.
- Prepare status/performance reports and resolve production issues.
- Regularly communicate with other production departments for information sharing.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products or equivalent applications.
- Domestic and international travel is required.
Nice to Have
- A Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering major is preferred.
- An advanced degree in a related field is preferred.
- Years of experience from the Automotive industry are strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, costs, and techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
