Nexstar Media Inc. is hiring a Production Camera/Audio Operator to ensure the technical quality of our broadcasts. In this role, you will manage all audio elements for live and recorded productions while operating studio cameras and producing on-air graphics.

What You'll Do

Set up, test, and adjust sound and recording equipment.
Activate and adjust sound sources including microphones, audio playback devices, and routable sound sources.
Create and maintain the proper audio mix during live and recorded broadcasts.
Operate the audio mixing board during live shows.
Operate studio and remote cameras, adjusting focus, exposure, and lighting as directed.
Confer with Newscast Directors and crew regarding show rundowns, desired effects, and technical requirements.
Set up, test, clean, and maintain camera, lighting, and studio equipment.
Produce graphics for newscasts using graphics production systems.

What We're Looking For

Ability to perform all duties under high stress situations and conditions.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
Proficiency with computers, telephone, copiers, scanners, and fax machines.
Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
