Carbon Health is hiring a Senior Account Executive to expand our presence in the warehousing and contract logistics sector. You will be responsible for deepening existing customer relationships and partnering with third-party logistics providers to deliver customized warehousing and distribution solutions.
What You'll Do
- Identify and grow opportunities primarily within existing accounts across industries such as Consumer Packaged Goods, Retail, eCommerce, Electronics/Technology, Industrial, and Automotive.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to expand service offerings, improve client retention, and meet revenue goals.
- Engage in complex B2B sales cycles, with an emphasis on nurturing long-term opportunities and upselling warehousing capabilities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic customers, understanding their business challenges and proactively identifying opportunities.
- Lead collaborative contract negotiations that result in profitable, sustainable partnerships.
- Proactively prepare for and respond to RFPs/tenders using a consultative sales approach.
- Work with the Solutions Design team to develop innovative, warehousing-focused logistics solutions.
- Lead cross-functional engagement across Operations, IT, Legal, Risk, Project Management, and HR throughout the RFP and onboarding process.
- Partner closely with operational teams to drive smooth implementation and long-term success.
- Maintain a deep understanding of warehousing and contract logistics trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings.
- Represent the company at industry events and client meetings to strengthen visibility and thought leadership.
- Act as a connector across internal teams, helping to break down silos and drive coordinated account success.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of business development or account management experience within warehousing, contract logistics, or distribution services.
- Demonstrated track record of growing existing client relationships.
- Deep understanding of warehousing operations, distribution center dynamics, and value-added services in a B2B context.
- Proven ability to navigate complex sales cycles with cross-functional internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with a strategic and consultative mindset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to design tailored solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
Nice to Have
- Experience in operational or industrial design within a warehousing or distribution environment.
Team & Environment
You will collaborate across Commercial, Marketing, Operations, and Solutions Design teams to ensure strategies align with overall business objectives.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $120,500.00 - $160,600.00 + commissions.
