About the Role

The Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) is hiring a Production Analyst (LS3) for its Affordable Rental Housing Division. In this role, you will make critical funding decisions that support the development of affordable multi-family rental housing while protecting the Oregon Housing and Community Services (OHCS) from financial and legal risk. Your work will directly contribute to creating stable housing opportunities across the state.

What You'll Do

  • Make decisions for the effective use of loan funding, grant, and tax credit resources for affordable multi-family rental housing development.
  • Protect OHCS from financial and legal risk regarding grant and tax credit funds.
  • Work as a funding partner in cooperation with a project sponsor and/or development team to successfully develop, construct, and maintain an affordable housing project.
  • Allocate, control, and disburse funds from state and federal programs.

What We're Looking For

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field AND three years’ experience analyzing and underwriting residential, commercial, or public sector loans.
  • OR three years’ experience in economic or community development, project development, or as a business finance officer.
  • OR a bachelor’s degree in other fields with an MBA, MPA, or MA in Management with an emphasis in general accounting, cost accounting, financial accounting, financial reporting, financial intermediation, or finance marketing AND two years’ experience at the level of a business finance officer or senior loan officer.
  • OR any combination of experience and education deemed acceptable for satisfactory job performance.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of general principles and practices related to real estate development.
  • Skill and ability to manage complex data management and data analysis.
  • Ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data and information.
  • Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people of diverse education and cultural backgrounds.
  • Experience promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion principles and practices in the workplace.

You will join the Production Section within the Affordable Rental Housing Division at OHCS.

  • Compensation range: $6,123 - $9,409 per month.

Work Mode
