Employment Hero is hiring a Product Owner - AI to own the vision and execution for our AI product line. You will be responsible for translating high-level strategy into actionable product plans and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Own the delivery and success of the product vision.
- Translate the product vision and roadmap through delivery, operation, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor and adapt the product vision and roadmap as constraints emerge.
- Apply a strategic mindset to user story prioritisation and delivery.
- Balance business goals, client expectations, customer desirability, and technical feasibility.
- Represent client, customer, and brand perspectives in release and sprint planning.
- Assist client product owners and managers during prioritisation sessions.
- Identify, filter, and prioritise customer feedback and complaints.
- Collaborate with designers and product leadership on testing and performance measurement for roadmap planning.
- Collaborate with Product Designers to create user stories, acceptance tests, and high-quality designs.
- Collaborate with Technical Architects and Developers to ensure solutions are feasible and viable.
- Work with Sales and Marketing to develop launch collateral.
- Collaborate with Professional Services and Support teams on rollout and implementation plans.
- Concisely communicate ideas, issues, and project status to stakeholders.
- Ensure product requirements are accurately gathered and transparently communicated.
- Host and articulate presentations to the entire organisation, executives, and external partners.
What We're Looking For
- 2-4 years of work experience as a Product Owner or in product management.
- Direct experience working on AI products.
- Strong analysis skills and experience interpreting data to inform decisions.
- Ability to write well-defined specifications to communicate expected outcomes.
- Proven success working with development teams using agile/scrum methodology.
- Track record of critically analysing data samples to produce actionable product insights.
- Ability to challenge expectations and question the status quo.
- Hungry, creative, enthusiastic, and data-driven with a skill set for fast growth and ambiguity.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication, presentation, and listening skills.
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for data and product management.
Nice to Have
- Undergraduate qualifications in Business Systems, IT, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Economics).
- Experience working with big data.
