Responsibilities
- Define and communicate the technical and business value of Altium’s solutions for engineering teams, hardware designers, and R&D leaders.
- Collaborate across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure our platforms address the most pressing challenges of electronics engineering and are positioned for maximum velocity in technical adoption.
- Create engaging stories that explain complicated technical features—such as advanced PCB design, simulation, and hardware collaboration—in a way that shows real benefits for electrical engineers, design engineers, and system architects.
- Define messaging for workflow efficiency, innovation enablement, error reduction, and integration of engineering tools.
- Lead the creation of engineering-focused content (technical presentations, webinars, white papers, technical guides, benchmarking comparisons, and competitive battlecards against EDA platforms).
- Partner with Brand and Content teams to deliver campaigns for engineering conferences, technical workshops, university outreach, and design contests.
- Act as the voice of engineers—bringing insights on design productivity, workflow pain points, tool interoperability, and next-gen technologies into product development.
- Work closely with Product Management to steer roadmap decisions that address engineering bottlenecks, technical feature demands, and integration with other design/manufacturing tools.
- Define use-case-driven value propositions for multi-board design, real-time collaboration, simulation, manufacturing integration, and design data management.
- Collaborate with Sales Enablement to develop materials for technical teams (design playbooks, troubleshooting guides, integration how-tos, technical objection handling).
- Support engineering customer and partner engagements, including early access programs, technical advisory boards, and developer-focused events.
- Represent engineering marketing in internal strategy sessions, technical planning meetings, and executive forums on product direction.
