Responsibilities
- Define product vision and roadmap for organics and offtake initiatives
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate business needs into technical requirements
- Gather and analyze data on waste composition and market demand for organic byproducts
- Identify opportunities to improve yield, quality, and marketability of organic outputs
- Work with external partners to secure offtake agreements and distribution channels
- Monitor regulatory trends affecting organic waste handling and recovery
- Develop key performance indicators to measure product success
- Lead user testing and validation with operational teams
- Coordinate with sustainability experts to ensure compliance with environmental standards
- Manage timelines and deliverables across product development phases
- Communicate product updates to stakeholders across departments
- Evaluate new technologies for integration into existing sortation systems
- Support go-to-market strategies for new organic product lines
- Ensure alignment between product goals and company mission
- Drive continuous improvement based on operational feedback
- Facilitate cross-team workshops to align on priorities
- Document product requirements and update product management tools
- Assess risks related to supply chain and material variability
- Partner with data science to build predictive models for organic stream performance
