Lyft is hiring a Product Manager, Driver Experience

About the Role

Own the end-to-end development of driver-facing tools and workflows. Collaborate with engineering, design, and operations to identify pain points, define requirements, and launch improvements that directly impact performance and user satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Define product vision and roadmap for driver experience initiatives
  • Gather insights from user research, data analysis, and frontline feedback
  • Translate user needs into clear product requirements and success metrics
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement scalable solutions
  • Work closely with UX designers to ensure intuitive and accessible interfaces
  • Prioritize features based on impact, feasibility, and strategic alignment
  • Manage product lifecycle from concept through launch and iteration
  • Monitor key performance indicators to assess feature effectiveness
  • Coordinate with operations teams to understand on-the-ground challenges
  • Communicate progress and trade-offs to stakeholders across departments
  • Identify opportunities to reduce friction in driver workflows
  • Ensure compliance with safety, privacy, and regulatory standards
  • Support A/B testing and experimentation to validate product changes
  • Integrate feedback loops for continuous improvement
  • Drive adoption through clear documentation and training materials
  • Partner with data science to build dashboards and reporting tools
  • Evaluate third-party tools and vendor solutions when applicable
  • Maintain backlog clarity and roadmap transparency
  • Advocate for driver needs in cross-functional forums
  • Balance short-term fixes with long-term platform health
