Position Summary Exciting opportunity to join the Computing team within the MX department! Computing represents Samsung's primary business growth area, with continuous innovation in laptop development through 2024 and beyond. The newly formed team is ambitious, energetic, and highly motivated, creating a dynamic working environment. Role and Responsibilities Your key responsibilities Manage the New Computing portfolio by overseeing the Management plan and P&L. Establish objectives, strategies, and performance measures for the category. Oversee commercial management, proposition development, sell-in activities, product ranging, go-to-market launch readiness, and product lifecycle management. Make strategic decisions impacting business goals by utilizing analytical skills to extract commercial value from data. From product launch through optimization and eventual end-of-life, your analytical approach will directly influence market share expansion. Role achievements are measured against clear Key Performance Indicators, with potential for high-visibility recognition within Samsung. What we need for this role To succeed, you will demonstrate the following skills and attributes: Act as the ambassador for the New Computing product group, driving the annual Product Strategy and Business Plan across UK and Ireland. Manage pricing, positioning, and channel distribution throughout the product lifecycle while monitoring market trends and internal forecasting. Possess excellent communication skills combined with strong business acumen. Create comprehensive business plans that effectively communicate product group messaging internally and externally. Own the New Computing Product group to coordinate and deliver targets through SEUK IM New Computing Product Plan across direct and indirect channel partners. Collaborate with Product Management teams to achieve critical metrics including revenue, volume, market share, profitability, and investment targets. Develop launch materials and support product launch, ranging, and sell-through processes. Deeply understand Samsung's New Computing products, market dynamics, consumer behaviors, channels, and competitive landscape. Align and negotiate business opportunities with leadership, gaining consensus on product strategy. Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure plan alignment, provide feedback, and manage potential issues. Track and report sell-out performance, conducting deep-dive analyses to understand performance variations. Rapidly develop recommendations and solutions to address potential shortcomings. Manage sell-out forecasting at SKU level, coordinating with demand planning and sales operations to ensure revenue target achievement.
