Medline Industries, LP is hiring a Product Manager to own the full product lifecycle, including sourcing, marketing, development, and financial growth. You’ll be responsible for managing assigned products from concept to market, working closely with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, and the sales team to drive business results.
What You'll Do
- Identify and develop new products, managing each stage through market launch.
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans and promotional programs for existing products.
- Review monthly financial performance, propose solutions for detrimental trends, and prepare product forecasts.
- Work with Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Engineering to reduce Cost of Goods.
- Manage inventory by focusing on eliminating surplus and optimizing SKU count.
- Negotiate pricing with vendors for raw materials and finished goods.
- Visit vendors to develop products and train personnel.
- Analyze and bid on GPO and/or Integrated Delivery Network contracts.
- Develop and deliver training materials and create sales tools.
- Conduct market research and translate insights into new products or improvements.
- Travel with the sales force to support customer conversion efforts and provide timely follow-up.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 2 years of product management experience.
- Experience negotiating with outside vendors and internal resources.
- Experience collecting and analyzing financial data.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time for business purposes.
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word.
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel.
