Shape the future of cross-border payments in Brazil as a Product Manager focused on launching stablecoin-based financial products. You'll guide Sphere's market entry by working directly with regulated banking institutions to design and deliver payment solutions that bridge BRL and USD economies through secure, compliant infrastructure.
What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end product development for Brazil-market initiatives—from discovery and scoping to launch—focusing on stablecoin-powered remittance and settlement flows.
- Design and manage the integration of Sphere’s API-driven platform with partner banking systems, ensuring seamless connectivity and reliable transaction execution.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to define technical requirements, prioritize work, and resolve blockers in real time.
- Act as the primary liaison between local financial partners and internal stakeholders, building trust and aligning on product direction amid complex regulatory environments.
- Track key performance metrics to guide iteration and expansion, using data to refine user flows and system efficiency.
- Identify new opportunities in the Brazilian market, including underserved customer segments, additional payment corridors, and novel stablecoin applications.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of hands-on product management experience, with a clear track record of leading discovery, writing specifications, and shipping products that move metrics.
- Direct experience in payments—especially bank integrations, FX, or settlement systems—with a deep understanding of how money flows and where failures occur.
- Background in regulated financial environments: banks, licensed payment providers, or fintechs where compliance is embedded in product design.
- Proven ability to take a product from idea to production, navigating technical, operational, and regulatory challenges.
- Fluency in both English and Portuguese, with strong written communication skills for technical specs, partner documentation, and internal strategy.
- Experience building platform or API-first products, with a developer-centric mindset.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in or with Brazilian financial institutions, particularly around local payment systems like PIX.
- Exposure to crypto or stablecoin products in a regulated context—such as custody, on/off ramps, or blockchain-based transfers.
- Mix of startup agility and experience in structured organizations with cross-functional scale.
- Ability to engage confidently with senior executives at partner firms, including C-level and director-level stakeholders.
