Hitachi Rail is looking for a Product Line Manager – PIPC Interlocking (H/F) to own the strategic vision, development, and lifecycle of this critical signaling product line. You will be the voice of the market internally and represent the company externally.
What You'll Do
- Define and evolve the product line strategy by integrating market, technical, and industrial challenges.
- Act as the voice of the market within the company and represent the company externally.
- Evaluate competition, customer needs, and technological developments.
- Develop Business Cases, strategy, roadmaps, and release planning.
- Manage lifecycle decisions: product launch, evolution, and withdrawal.
- Ensure cross-functional alignment with departments like engineering, projects, industrialization, quality, and procurement.
- Interface with the global entity in charge of signaling product strategy and other Hitachi Rail entities.
- Support French and International bid teams in responding to tenders with roadmap and evolution data.
- Be a strategic partner to R&D and project teams in a continuous innovation logic.
- Manage budgets associated with your scope, including self-funded R&D, product renewal, and software maintenance.
What We're Looking For
- Engineering degree in electrical engineering, industrial and systems computing, or an equivalent field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a technical manager, Bid manager, or in project management.
- Fluent level of English.
Nice to Have
- Experience ideally in railway transport systems.
Team & Environment
You will interface with the global signaling product strategy entity and other Hitachi Rail entities, while supporting French and International bid teams.
