Responsibilities

  • Define product strategy and roadmap for 0→1 products in revenue cycle management.
  • Identify workflows where Abridge’s clinical data creates defensible competitive advantage.
  • Prioritize opportunities based on buyer value, clinical workflow fit, and potential to build bridges between payers and providers.
  • Navigate complex clinical and operational workflows.
  • Design product experiences that shift administrative work left to the point of care without creating clinician burden.
  • Balance real-time intervention opportunities with operational batch workflows.
  • Ensure deep integration with EHR, billing systems, and payer platforms.
  • Leverage domain expertise in healthcare and/or revenue cycle management, including claims lifecycle, payer policies, prior authorization, and clinical documentation’s connection to reimbursement.
  • Understand incentive structures, friction between payers and providers, and opportunities for mutual value creation.
  • Drive enterprise partnerships with both providers and payers.
  • Partner with commercial leadership and clinical/revenue cycle leaders at payers and health systems to understand pain points and validate product direction.
  • Translate complex, sometimes competing stakeholder needs into clear product requirements.
  • Define and execute MVP scope that proves value with design partners.
  • Establish clear KPIs around administrative efficiency, time savings, reimbursement cycle time, and user experience.
  • Build toward a defensible ROI story demonstrating value for providers, payers, and patients.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience with expertise in B2B healthcare products, ideally in revenue cycle management, health IT, or adjacent domains.
  • Commercial fluency: experience working closely with sales, partnerships, or BD on early-stage deals.
  • Comfort with ambiguity: ability to run discovery, form hypotheses, and update quickly when wrong.
  • Strong cross-functional credibility: ability to communicate effectively with ML scientists, lawyers, and pharma VPs.
  • Clear, direct communication: ability to write and speak well, simplifying complex topics without losing precision.

Nice to Have

  • Built products at the intersection of clinical workflows and financial/administrative operations.
  • Expertise in revenue cycle management and direct experience shipping revenue cycle, billing, coding, or prior authorization products.
  • Understanding of payer policies, medical necessity criteria, and prior authorization workflows.
  • Experience with Epic, Cerner, or other EHR billing and revenue cycle modules.
  • Managed design partner relationships or early-stage enterprise pilots in healthcare.
  • Experience building collaborative solutions that create value for multiple stakeholders with competing interests.
