Scout Motors is looking for a Product Development Intern for a 10-week summer program on our Merchandising Team. This role offers hands-on experience in how products move from development through production and delivery to customers within a collaborative, people-first culture.
What You'll Do
- Track and monitor POs to ensure suppliers meet agreed delivery deadlines.
- Schedule factory audits with a third-party auditor and monitor results.
- Order development samples and monitor feedback.
- Gather SKU data information from suppliers for team members to update PDPs.
- Attend and participate in team meetings with cross-functional teams and send recaps of action items.
- Analyze competitor assortments to identify gaps in our product offering.
- Build relationships with suppliers and work with them directly on daily requests.
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Business, Merchandising, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team setting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to quickly execute assigned tasks.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
