Airtable is hiring a Product Design Manager for our Self Serve team, focusing on Funnel & Monetization. In this role, you will lead design while staying close to craft, splitting time between people leadership and hands-on design work. You'll partner across Product, Engineering, Data, and Marketing to create intuitive, cohesive, and effective user experiences.
What You'll Do
- Manage 1-3 product designers: give clear ownership, direct feedback, and support for growth.
- Own your team's feedback culture and set a high bar constructively.
- Know each person's growth edges and provide specific feedback and stretch opportunities.
- Manage resourcing for your area: scope work to match capacity and protect from overload.
- Partner with Product and Engineering leads to define roadmaps and success metrics.
- Use design-led exploration to help define the problem and solution space.
- Own end-to-end design for significant work in your area.
- Set the quality bar through your own output and feedback.
- Stay close to the work to maintain a sharp, grounded perspective.

- 1-2 years of prior experience managing designers.
- Strong and current design craft; can produce and articulate high-quality work.
