Reddit is looking for a Product Communications Lead, Global to develop and drive worldwide communication strategies that support product and technology narratives. In this role, you will increase awareness for Reddit's technology and convey the value of product features to consumers, working within the Global Consumer and Product Communications team. You will partner closely with product, tech, marketing, and community teams.
What You'll Do
- Partner with product, tech teams, and key stakeholders to develop global product communications strategies.
- Highlight product features in the media at launch and beyond, showcasing use cases, success stories, and trends to convey the value of Reddit's features.
- Develop a thought-leadership strategy, including speaking opportunities, bylines, and industry commentary, to amplify Reddit's innovation.
- Work with cross-functional teams and other communications members to amplify product narratives in markets outside the US.
- Conduct global media relations activities, including reporter meetings, pitch development, and outreach.
- Develop press materials as needed, such as media lists, corporate blog posts, and reporter education tools.
- Collect and analyze quantitative data sets, converting them into newsworthy narratives for storytelling.
- Help manage media inbounds related to product and tech inquiries.
- Work closely with the community team on communications related to help center articles and Reddit-owned posts.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of experience in product communications in the U.S., with demonstrated experience communicating the value of product/tech features to consumer audiences.
- Experience working with global counterparts and/or on press campaigns outside the U.S.
- Passion for seeking out story opportunities, pitching, and building media relationships.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, strong execution skills, and an ability to take initiative and drive projects independently.
- A mix of analytical and creative skills; adept at spotting inefficiencies and scaling efforts, and excited to turn data points into compelling narratives.
- Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, Reddit moderators, Reddit users, and journalists.
- Knowledgeable about Reddit's communities and user behaviors.

This is a remote position open to candidates in the US. Preference for candidates based in San Francisco or New York.
