Responsibilities
- Create and execute a supply chain and procurement strategy.
- Establish contracts with appropriate suppliers.
- Assist in project delivery according to the procurement and contract management plans.
- Plan, implement, and carry out procurement or tender strategies.
- Draft and negotiate service, consultancy, supply, and installation contracts.
- Offer commercial and contractual advice to clients.
- Deliver optimal value in quality, cost, and timeline while reducing risks.
- Coordinate commercial, technical, financial, and legal input from clients and internal teams, ensuring adherence to client governance and approval processes.
- Manage the full procurement cycle, including issuing requests for information, proposals, and tenders, evaluating bids, recommending awards, and finalizing contracts.
- Execute procurement in line with client policies and procedures, maintaining transparency and traceability through documentation.
- Identify high-value items and their interdependencies, setting tender strategies with clear award criteria.
- Manage information flow internally and externally, keeping stakeholders updated on progress.
- Finalize commercial and contractual terms using standard conditions or managing exceptions with legal and key stakeholders.
- Maximize value while mitigating delivery, quality, and performance risks.
- Find compromises and solutions to conclude negotiations under time constraints.
- Engage in vendor relationship management through regular communication and meetings, and enhance vendor and market knowledge.
