Weave is seeking a Procurement Category and Supplier Manager to support all procurement operations and activities across the entire business. You will be responsible for supplier and stakeholder management, contract negotiations, and coordinating high-volume, lower-cost purchases aligned to various departments.
What You'll Do
- Conduct supplier due diligence for onboarding, coordinating reviews between Compliance, Legal, IT, and Security.
- Work with Legal to evaluate and redline contract terms.
- Review and negotiate commercial contract terms with suppliers.
- Assist with and coordinate RF(x) events.
- Conduct research on purchasing needs and identify potential suppliers.
- Process purchase requests in the Airbase Purchasing System and execute POs.
- Support invoice inquiries and coordinate payments with Accounts Payable.
- Analyze spend data to provide meaningful insights.
- Proactively meet with stakeholders to understand purchasing needs.
- Resolve vendor performance issues if they arise.
- Track and manage cost-savings initiatives.
- Develop a contract renewal calendar.
- Manage and execute contract renewals.
- Develop training materials and provide ongoing training for business stakeholders.
- Assist in procurement consolidation activities resulting from M&A activity.
What We're Looking For
- 2-4 years of experience in procurement, contract management, or supplier management at a software company.
- BS Degree with a concentration in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Experience running RF(x) events.
- Efficiency in managing multiple projects to execution.
- Proven ability to redline commercial supplier agreements.
- Experience in proactive customer service and relationship management.
- Highly motivated and independent working style.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstration of strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Gmail.
- Experience using a Procure to Pay system such as Coupa, Airbase, SAP Ariba, or Zip.
- A creative approach to process development and improvement.
Nice to Have
- Experience managing or overseeing a P-card program.
- Experience managing and negotiating with large enterprise-level suppliers such as Salesforce, Netsuite, or SAP.
- M&A procurement experience.
- Experience managing and setting up purchase catalogs such as Amazon or CDW.
