First Student is hiring a Procurement Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming requests for hardware and software purchases
  • Generate purchase orders and approve vendor invoices
  • Receive new equipment, document it, and attach City asset tags
  • Process inventory transfer forms to assign assets to designated custodians
  • Complete the annual Class 400 Inventory Report distributed to the unit
  • Perform general administrative duties, including maintaining accurate departmental budget records
  • Build and sustain working relationships with associates, administrative officials, and departmental officials within City government
  • Maintain positive relationships with vendors
  • Document current processes and ensure documents remain current

Requirements

  • High school diploma plus two years of post-high school education
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Exemplary organizational skills
  • Emphasis on customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant, with four years preferred
  • A college degree is a plus but not required
