About the Role

ASR Group is hiring a Process Supervisor to ensure the safe, efficient, and environmentally compliant operation of our crystallization, evaporation, pan floor, and associated heating systems, including specialty syrup production. You will be a key leader in our Sugar Crystallization & Evaporation process, driving a culture of safety and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Account for the health and safety of all personnel within crystallization, evaporation, pan floor, and boiler operations.
  • Promote a strong safety and energy-aware culture through leadership, coaching, and visible presence.
  • Oversee crystallization, evaporation, pan boiling, syrup blending, granulation, and associated heating systems.
  • Manage specialty syrup blends and large-grain granulation processes.
  • Assume the duties of Sugar Boiler when necessary.
  • Develop, deliver, and maintain formal training and authorization programs for all process staff.
  • Conduct written, practical, and on-the-job competency assessments for personnel operating boilers, pans, evaporators, and energy systems.
  • Ensure all Boiler Operators, Forepersons, Supervisors, and Engineers are properly trained, tested, certified where required, and competent.
  • Identify competency gaps and implement targeted training, mentoring, and corrective development plans.
  • Maintain accurate training, qualifications, and compliance records for audits and regulations.
  • Schedule, direct, and monitor the work of hourly and supervisory personnel within the department.
  • Provide technical guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Evaluate operational performance and adjust staffing and schedules to meet safety, quality, and production goals.
  • Act as the primary liaison with Powerhouse to coordinate steam supply, condensate return, and energy usage.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance & Engineering on equipment, reliability, servicing, and improvements.
  • Coordinate with Laboratory & Quality on product quality and environmental control.
  • Coordinate with Packaging to meet granulated and soft sugar production demands.
  • Coordinate with Powerhouse on steam, utilities, energy compliance, and production alignment.

What We're Looking For

  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Recognized technical abilities and practical experience with strong capabilities in the theory and functionality of manufacturing systems and unit operations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
