BMW Group is looking for a Process Leader to join our team. In this key role, you will ensure the successful ramp-up of the Battery Module production system within the Penthouse Production/Rework team. You will lead a team, control production processes, and implement continuous improvement methods to deliver exceptional premium products.
What You'll Do
- Ensure the successful ramp-up of the Battery Module production system within the Penthouse Production/Rework team.
- Proactively implement the BMW work organization, VPS methods, and a continuous improvement process.
- Control the production process regarding quality, quantity, and costs.
- Supervise and lead production associates as the team leader.
- Manage people and resources, solve problems, and assure quality.
- Improve production capability, optimization, and cycle time.
- Manage, instruct, and assign tasks to team members.
- Ensure the correct start-up of production.
- Assume disciplinary, labor law-related, and HR-related responsibilities according to applicable laws, regulations, and BMW guidelines.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or project management, preferably in the automotive sector.
- Good communication, teamwork, problem solving and leadership skills.
- Fluent written and spoken business English.
Nice to Have
- Other appropriate experience or qualifications in a related field of manufacturing like battery production or any related technologies.
