HARTING Technology Group is seeking a Process Engineer to take ownership of developing and optimizing assembly processes for our connector product lines. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring production stability and achieving factory targets through systematic improvement initiatives and cross-functional teamwork.
What You'll Do
- Lead the development of assembly processes for new connector product projects.
- Continuously optimize existing assembly processes to maintain stable production.
- Drive the achievement of factory targets through structured continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with R&D engineers to develop production processes for new projects.
- Plan procurement and approve new assembly machines and fixtures.
- Create PFMEA documentation for new projects with a cross-functional team.
- Make and verify ISIR documentation for new projects with R&D and Quality teams.
- Solve daily production and process issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Create and update SAP master data, including BOM, Routing, and Work Centers.
- Create and update manufacturing cost calculations.
- Create and implement standard production documents such as work instructions.
- Promote lean manufacturing, improve line balance, optimize material flow and processes according to the HARlis principle, increase output, and reduce costs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
What We're Looking For
- A university degree in Engineering.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant industry, preferably within an assembly company.
- Proven experience with Flow charts, P-FMEA, Poka Yoke, Process Capability (Cp/Cpk), cycle time measurement, Engineering Change Requests, 4M changes, and Work Instruction creation.
- Strong digital skills and proficiency in MS Office.
- An independent and proactive work attitude.
- Good written English skills and the ability to communicate verbally in English.
