Tetra Pak is looking for a Process Engineer to focus on designing and implementing process and application solutions. You will interface directly with customers to provide industry-leading processing solutions in a role that involves global travel up to 35% of the time.
What You'll Do
- Support Commissioning Automation and Commercial Project Teams, including resolving issues with field service engineers and stakeholders.
- Support projects from the conceptual development phase through implementation to the start of commercial operation.
- Act with full responsibility for technical solutions, quality aspects of project performance, and food safety, aligned with customer needs.
- Work in close cooperation with the Plant Integration team in each market company.
- Work with customers and colleagues in an international environment and collaborate with resources throughout the organization.
- Give direction to Automation Engineers on the proper sequencing of Membrane Filtration Equipment and create Function Descriptions.
- Assist in process and yield optimization for Membrane Filtration Equipment.
What We're Looking For
- BS in Chemical, Food Science Engineering, or Bioproducts Engineering required (Experience may be considered in lieu of a 5-year degree).
- Minimum 3+ years of previous experience in food and plant engineering delivering process solutions.
- Proven process engineering experience ideally within the dairy, beverage, or pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong communication, planning, and leadership skills, with the ability to solve problems consistently.
- Ability to read and understand a process and instrumentation diagram (PID).

You will report to the Automation Manager and work in an international environment, collaborating closely with customers and colleagues across the organization.
