Thomson Reuters is looking for a Process Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for integrating tax software solutions with our in-house applications, ensuring compliance with evolving tax regulations, and providing critical technical support.
What You'll Do
- Integrate tax software solutions with in-house applications.
- Update applications in accordance with new and evolving tax laws.
- Troubleshoot issues, implement fixes, and manage updates across various environments.
- Coordinate with internal staff and end-users to address concerns and requirements.
- Respond promptly to reported issues and provide effective resolutions.
- Achieve assigned targets and goals with accuracy and efficient planning.
- Prepare and execute test cases and test plans for software updates and integrations.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes and resolutions.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Commerce or a related field.
- Moderate proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of SQL and experience with SQL Server Management Studio.
- Experience with software testing and quality assurance processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to promote a positive work environment.
- Effective time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Good analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Quick learner with adaptability to new challenges.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to work extended hours and on holidays, as required.
Nice to Have
- Experience in tax software integration and application development.
- Familiarity with US tax laws and regulations.
- Familiarity with third-party applications.
- Experience or knowledge of decision tables.
