Raymond James is hiring a Private Equity Analyst to play a pivotal role in deploying firm capital to support and expand its network of advisors through Practice Capital Solutions. You will evaluate and execute investment opportunities within the financial advisory sector, focusing on maximizing long-term value.
What You'll Do
- Support deal creation and execution for private equity investments in financial advisory firms.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including analyzing advisors’ practices, valuation modeling, and cash flow scenarios for debt and equity investments.
- Structure transactions to optimize returns and support the firm's overall investment and retention strategy.
- Prepare key investment memos, pitch books, and financial reports to support decision-making.
- Manage the investment pipeline, reporting, and meetings. Project manage multiple transactions by setting agendas, sharing minutes, and guiding internal processes.
- Oversee post-investment integration, ensuring execution on transaction structure to support branch growth aligned with Raymond James' operational and strategic goals.
- Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive positioning to inform investment decisions.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in economics or finance.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in financial services at a broker/dealer, hedge fund, or private equity firm.
- Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources.
