Responsibilities
- Direct technical strategy and implementation, converting complex PAM and network access challenges into modular designs for team execution.
- Architect and optimize durable connector plugins for various database types and network infrastructures using existing platform frameworks.
- Establish benchmarks for secure, efficient backend development in Go and conduct thorough code reviews to foster team growth.
- Coordinate with international technical leads to align architectural choices with product strategy while preserving local execution speed.
- Participate in global on-call rotations and support duties, prioritizing platform operational health.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years in software engineering with demonstrated leadership as a Principal or Staff-level individual contributor.
- Substantial background in Privileged Access Management or Identity and Access Management domains.
- Proficiency with networking protocols like SSH, Telnet, SNMP, or integration with database systems.
- Extensive experience constructing scalable, secure backend services, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Strong engineering skills in Go or comparable backend languages with readiness to work extensively in Go.
- Familiarity with AWS services, Kubernetes, and building resilient agentless systems.
- Ability to handle ambiguity, make practical decisions under pressure, and guide junior developers to success.
Nice to Have
- Background in resource discovery, credential rotation, or agentless communication methods.
- Previous roles at enterprise security firms such as CyberArk or Delinea, or direct PAM/IAM competitors.
- Deep knowledge of Graph databases or policy engines like ArangoDB or OPA.
- Experience initiating or directing technical strategy for remote engineering teams with high autonomy.
