This role is central to expanding the firm’s footprint by building trusted relationships with executive stakeholders and translating client challenges into tailored advisory solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture relationships with C-suite leaders in mining and metals organizations to understand strategic priorities and identify consulting opportunities.
- Drive new business development by cultivating a robust pipeline and positioning the firm’s capabilities in operations, risk, transformation, and performance improvement.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex consulting projects, ensuring rigorous analysis, client value, and on-time execution.
- Shape the firm’s market positioning by developing insights, white papers, and service innovations that respond to regional industry dynamics.
- Represent the firm at industry forums and through professional networks to strengthen reputation and visibility.
- Mentor and develop consulting teams, fostering leadership, collaboration, and technical excellence across projects.
- Advance regional strategy by aligning growth initiatives with market opportunities and organizational capabilities.

Qualifications
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or business, with over 15 years of professional experience—including at least 8 years in management or operations consulting. Proven expertise in operational excellence, transformation, or risk management within the mining sector is essential. A demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage senior client relationships, and deliver complex engagements is required. Fluency in English is mandatory.
Preference will be given to candidates with an MBA or advanced degree, as well as additional language proficiency relevant to Sub-Saharan Africa.
Compensation and Work Environment
This position offers participation in an equity-based incentive plan, with a strategic objective toward a value-maximizing event within the next two to three years.
