CrowdStrike is hiring a Principal, IT Vendor Relationship to oversee a strategic portfolio of over $300M in annual vendor spend and drive key partnerships across our global organization. This role will implement vendor governance frameworks, optimize costs, and ensure maximum value delivery through structured relationship management, working closely with stakeholders like the Procurement team.
What You'll Do
- Partner with Procurement to lead strategic vendor negotiations and relationship management initiatives.
- Design and implement comprehensive vendor management frameworks and governance systems.
- Drive 15%+ cost optimization through vendor consolidation and contract optimization.
- Develop and monitor vendor performance metrics, maintaining 95%+ SLA compliance.
- Manage strategic planning and execution of vendor optimization initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Procurement, IT, Legal, and Finance teams.
- Oversee vendor performance monitoring and QBR program management.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in IT vendor relationship management.
- Proven track record of successful collaborative contract negotiations and cost savings.
- Expert-level proficiency in vendor risk management and governance.
- Strong technical acumen combined with business strategy expertise.
- Excellence in stakeholder management and executive communication.
- Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with Procurement organizations.
Nice to Have
- Experience managing vendor relationships in the cybersecurity industry.
- IACCM, CPSM, or similar professional certifications.
- Advanced expertise in contract law and negotiation.
- Strong background in cloud services and software licensing.
- Experience with vendor management tools and technologies.
