TMG Insurance Services, LLC is hiring a Principal Enterprise Architect to define and lead the modernization and scaling of our Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance technology ecosystem. You will establish the future-state architectural vision for COTS platforms, custom applications, integration/API management, and cloud platforms to deliver multi-tenant, AI-enabled insurance solutions.
What You'll Do
- Define and lead the applications architecture vision, including establishing best-in-class insurance SaaS/PaaS solutions and designing target-state multi-tenant insurance platform architecture.
- Define how AI can accelerate the development of core insurance solutions and shape how multiple insurance companies experience and consume products.
- Enable scalable integration models for agencies and insurance carriers and establish extensibility patterns for developers.
- Design highly available, secure, and cost-efficient architecture.
- Architect and design scalable, secure, cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS and Azure to support core insurance systems.
- Define modern cloud application patterns, including Multi-tenant and Microservices architectures, Containerization strategies, Serverless computing, and Hybrid and multi-cloud models.
- Drive enterprise-wide adoption of Cloud-native SaaS/PaaS services, API gateways, event-driven architectures, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Establish scalable and secure patterns for custom application development, application integration, data management, and multi-cloud orchestration.
- Ensure architecture standards, principles, and best practices are consistently applied across the technology landscape.
- Lead modernization initiatives, platform rationalization efforts, and enterprise-wide digital transformation programs.
- Develop forward-looking enterprise architecture strategies with a 3–5 year horizon.
- Incorporate diverse perspectives into balanced and practical technology strategies.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve systems, products, platforms, and enterprise capabilities.
- Stay current with industry trends and contribute thought leadership through research and white papers.
- Partner closely with engineering, business, and infrastructure leaders to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.
- Mentor and elevate solution architects, developers, and engineers, strengthening architectural maturity.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on cloud adoption, modernization, and transformation initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in IT architecture, with significant focus on insurance core systems and cloud platforms.
- 5+ years architecting and delivering highly available, custom cloud-native applications.
- 3+ years of experience designing and implementing multi-tenant and white-labeled architectures.
- Strong expertise in Microservices architecture, API management, Event-driven design, DevOps and CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Strong knowledge of security, privacy, and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA) within cloud and insurance domains.
- Deep understanding of enterprise integration patterns, data architecture, workflow orchestration, and business process modeling.
- Demonstrated ability to design pragmatic solutions to complex cloud transformation and modernization challenges.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and influencing skills across technical and business stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Master’s degree preferred.
- AWS or Azure Architect certifications strongly preferred.

- Base salary range: $160,000 - $210,000 annually.
