Intuita is hiring a Principal Consultant - Data Visualisation to join our growing consultancy business. You will lead the design of visualisation dashboards that drive data-driven decision-making for our clients, working closely with their teams and our internal analytical and engineering experts.

What You'll Do

Lead the design and development of complex visualisation dashboards that present information clearly.
Drive data-driven decision-making by unlocking insights from vast client datasets.
Partner with clients to understand user needs and translate them into visually appealing, easy-to-use solutions.
Provide rapid value through wireframing, prototyping, and creating proof of concepts to demonstrate the 'art of the possible'.
Apply clean design principles for reporting and ensure data accuracy and consistency across all visualisations.
Perform data analysis, assess new datasets for opportunities, and implement efficient solutions like semantic or aggregation data layers.
Document and demonstrate designs and solutions directly to clients.
Support client training, adoption, and the ongoing evolution of visualisation solutions.
Work collaboratively with analytical and engineering teams to translate business needs into technical specifications and deliver solutions.
Present dashboards and analysis confidently to senior stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

A track record of designing and building comprehensive sets of dashboard solutions.
Experience in collaborative design with business users.
Ability to perform data blending, aggregation, and create complex calculated fields.
Hands-on experience with SQL.
Knowledge of data warehousing and dimensional modelling.
Experience using large data platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks.
A collaborative team focus, working with stakeholders and development teams to ensure user needs are met.
Confidence in presenting to senior stakeholders.
Ability to quickly understand a client's context and demonstrate expertise in their business.
Willingness to explore data when requirements are uncertain.
Skill in presenting complex information in an interesting way to varied audiences.
A fast learner who asks questions to build understanding and stays up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Nice to Have

A background in Tableau is our current preference and priority.
Experience within Telco, Financial Services (ideally insurance, banking, pensions), Healthcare and/or Life Science industries.
A consultancy approach or successful consultancy experience.
Proficiency in desktop and cloud, with expert-level experience in calculated metrics, data modelling, and optimising reports.
Exposure to other visualisation platforms like PowerBI.
