Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth evaluations of client hardware, storage, and network environments to gather baseline infrastructure data.
- Produce detailed assessment reports highlighting technical risks, accumulated debt, and critical gaps.
- Define and promote a forward-looking architecture vision across public and private cloud platforms.
- Design multi-year modernization strategies that balance cost efficiency with workload placement—public cloud for scalability, private or on-premises for sensitive operations.
- Lead the migration of legacy on-premises systems to hybrid and multi-cloud environments at scale.
- Collaborate with business leaders to align technology initiatives with organizational objectives, emphasizing return on investment and performance gains.
- Design enterprise systems that are scalable, secure, and resilient across distributed environments.
- Integrate modern patterns such as microservices, zero-trust security, and automated disaster recovery, optimized for both public cloud elasticity and private cloud governance.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives, including CTOs and CIOs.
- Convert complex technical decisions into clear business benefits and strategic recommendations.
- Establish and uphold architectural standards and governance policies across all deployment models.
- Lead Architecture Review Boards to ensure compliance with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and GovRAMP.
- Spearhead proof-of-concept initiatives for emerging technologies including AI-powered automation, serverless computing, and edge computing to advance digital transformation.
