Thomson Reuters is hiring a Pricing Manager/Senior Pricing Manager

Thomson Reuters is looking for a Pricing Manager / Senior Pricing Manager to lead the strategic development and execution of pricing initiatives across our portfolio. You will drive pricing strategy for key products, craft new pricing models, establish price levels, and structure pricing packages while playing a pivotal role in the evolution and leadership of our Pricing Centre of Excellence.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design and execution of effective pricing strategies, ensuring alignment with Product, Finance, and GTM teams.
• Direct comprehensive pricing analyses to shape pricing strategy for new, renewal, and upsell/cross-sell offerings.
• Develop and refine complex models to assess price sensitivity, feature/price trade-offs, and pinpoint optimization opportunities.
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of price books and discount guidelines to facilitate simplification and standardization.
• Collaborate with Commercial Excellence teams to implement system enhancements and automated quoting capabilities.
• Establish annual price adjustments, govern discounting practices, and create governance frameworks for consistency.
• Lead pricing support for high-priority strategic initiatives, including pricing overhauls and new product introductions.
• Conduct in-depth analysis on the impact of pricing decisions and devise pricing metrics to track and improve performance.
• Support the Director in training, upskilling and leading other team members.

What We're Looking For

• A minimum of 10 years of total work experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in B2B pricing.
• Experience within technology, SaaS, or related industries.
• A strong passion for mastering pricing strategies and methodologies.
• An analytical mindset, adept at acquiring, interpreting, and leveraging customer and market insights.
• A methodical and structured thinker who excels in simplifying complex scenarios and processes.
• A doer with a bias for action, who thrives on developing and implementing pricing policies.
• Proficient in the deployment and enhancement of pricing and quoting tools.
• Demonstrated ability to exert influence and drive consensus among various stakeholders.
• Strong project management skills, capable of leading complex, cross-functional projects.
• Keen interest in AI technologies in the industry and proficient using AI tools in the workplace.

Nice to Have

• Advanced degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional pricing certification (such as CPP).
• Experience with Alteryx, SAP and PowerBi.
