Raymond James is hiring a Presentation Designer for our Investment Banking team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and creating compelling presentations and pitch materials. This role executes against an established vision within brand parameters, contributes to creative themes, and provides mentorship to associate-level designers.
What You'll Do
- Make key contributions to the themes, ideas, and methods used in producing medium- to large-scope PowerPoint presentations and related assets.
- Design and render original work to illustrate specific data, including infographics, financial charts, tables, and graphs.
- Consult with internal clients regarding design needs and associated costs.
- Design and prepare graphics for PowerPoint presentations and pitch materials.
- Execute and troubleshoot complex graphic jobs.
- Perform quality control reviews for your own work and the work produced by teammates.
- Advise professionals at all levels on formatting and provide on-the-spot document troubleshooting.
- Ensure the file management system is maintained.
- Stay current with presentation design trends and technologies.
- Manage deadlines through clear communication with the team.
- Mentor and utilize associate presentation designers.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Graphics, Digital Communications and Media/Multimedia, or Graphic Design.
- 1–3 years of general professional experience.
- Moderate understanding of design principles and best practices for formatting content.
- Strong knowledge and experience designing infographics, financial charts, tables, and graphs.
- Mastery in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel (including advanced charting), and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Expertise in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
- Expertise in MapInfo Professional.
- Ability to work concurrently under pressure on multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively and professionally with all organizational levels, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to build relationships with colleagues at similar levels, both within and outside of the department.
- Demonstrated sense of urgency and a client-first focus aligned with Raymond James culture.
- Ability to quickly self-direct and determine priorities to meet both creative and operational responsibilities.

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation range: $70,000–$85,000.
