  • Partner with Research Operations on participant recruitment and incentives, and lab or remote setups. Uphold research ethics and data privacy best practices.
  • Synthesize and communicate actionable insights and recommendations tailored to game teams, ensuring findings are clear, prioritized, and easy to act on.
  • Contribute to the Center for Player Insights’ research strategy and evangelize user-centric development across Wargaming.
  • Stay current on industry trends and play Wargaming titles to build deep product understanding.
  • Be willing to occasionally adjust working hours for participant availability with advance notice, including late evenings on weekdays.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience running in-lab and remote playtests, usability studies, focus groups, and one-on-one interviews, including strong moderation skills.
  • Strong grasp of UX research theory and qualitative methods, and ability to select the right approach for the question at hand.
  • Ability to frame research questions, define hypotheses and sampling plans, and translate stakeholder needs into actionable research objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills, including clear writing, confident facilitation, and engaging presentations to cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management skills, able to run multiple studies concurrently, meet deadlines, and keep stakeholders aligned.
  • Collaborative, curious, and detail-oriented. Enjoy solving complex problems and working closely with others.
  • Able to quickly build rapport and credibility with diverse participants and stakeholders.
