Bright Horizons is hiring a Preschool Teacher to create a safe, nurturing environment that supports children’s social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth. In this full-time role, you’ll design hands-on activities, communicate with parents, and collaborate with a team to deliver an engaging curriculum.
What You'll Do
- Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
- Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
- Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
- Provide supervision, care, curriculum delivery and services per Bright Horizons’ policies, procedures and guidance
- Comply with all applicable federal, state, local, Bright Horizons’, and client site requirements concerning immunizations, health and safety
What We're Looking For
- Candidates must pass required state and company background checks
- Meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements
- High School diploma/GED required
- Twelve units in Child Development, including the core courses of Growth & Development (3 units), Child, Family & Community (3 units), Curriculum (3 units), Principles and Practices (3 units)
- Three units in Early Childhood Education Infant and Toddler Development (Required for Infant and Toddler Teacher positions)
- Transcripts will be required at time of interview
Nice to Have
- AA/BA in Early Childhood Education preferred
