Rossum seeks a Presales Engineer to provide strategic technical advisory to prospects, customers, and internal teams. In this role at our tech-first AI startup, you will own the customer's technical journey through the sales cycle, from analyzing needs to implementing proofs of concept.

What You'll Do

Lead in-depth technical discovery to map out complex customer processes and design tailored solutions.
Deliver compelling, customized presentations and demos that tell a story rather than list features.
Explain complex technical and architectural concepts simply and clearly to business stakeholders.
Tackle technical challenges, from scripting to system configuration, while finding answers to unknowns.
Collaborate closely with Product, Research, Services, and Management teams to provide customer feedback and strategic insights.
Own the customer technical journey, ensuring an excellent customer experience throughout the sales cycle.
Perform cost/benefit and risk/benefit analyses on sales opportunities.

Experience in a customer-facing role with a strong track record of running technical discovery and solution design.
Skilled presenter who customizes every interaction for maximum impact.
Prioritizes value and customer needs over just features.
Technically savvy and comfortable discussing architecture and integrations.
Confident in handling diverse technical challenges and quickly learning new concepts.
Excellent communication and writing skills in English.
Honest and bullshit-free, basing opinions on data but staying open to good arguments.

Nice to Have

Experience or a strong willingness to learn about artificial intelligence.
Domain experience in finance, logistics, or ERP systems like Coupa, SAP, or Netsuite.
Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
