The Pre-sales Consultant plays a key role in shaping technical outcomes during the sales cycle for a leading financial crime prevention solution. Based in the UAE, this individual works closely with sales teams to understand client challenges and translate them into tailored technical responses that align with enterprise security and operational requirements.
What You'll Do
- Conduct in-depth discovery sessions with prospective clients to uncover business drivers, technical constraints, and risk management goals.
- Design and deliver customized demonstrations, technical workshops, and scoping discussions that validate solution fit.
- Partner with solution architects to define integrated system designs and secure technical agreement from client stakeholders.
- Develop clear project scopes and implementation plans, ensuring alignment between customer expectations and delivery capabilities.
- Lead responses to formal procurement processes, including RFIs and RFPs, with technically accurate and compelling content.
- Support security review cycles by coordinating with internal technical teams and client InfoSec departments.
- Establish credibility through thought leadership at industry events, client meetings, and technical forums.
- Stay informed on evolving fraud tactics, regulatory developments, and competitive offerings to enhance positioning.
- Advise on machine learning applications, data flows, and API-based integrations within modern banking environments.
- Act as a trusted advisor, helping institutions embed behavioral analytics into fraud detection and AML workflows.
Requirements
- Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Current residency in the UAE with valid work authorization.
- Five or more years in pre-sales engineering or technical consulting within fraud prevention, AML, or financial crime technology, preferably serving large financial institutions.
- Alternatively, senior-level experience in fraud management at a major bank.
- Proven ability to explain complex systems to both technical and business audiences.
- Solid grasp of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), operating systems (Linux), and data formats (JSON, XML, CSV).
- Familiarity with API integrations, SPA development, SDKs, and database architectures.
- Working knowledge of statistical modeling concepts and machine learning applications in risk detection.
- Experience navigating enterprise security frameworks and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks, ask probing questions, and propose viable solutions.
- Willingness to travel 25%–60% across the GCC region.

Work Mode
This role is based locally in the UAE, with no remote-only option. The position requires in-person engagement across the Gulf Cooperation Council region.
