Responsibilities
- Obtain and maintain pre-licensure status in required states per business need, and are willing to obtain licensure in other states as requested by Equip (licensure costs will be covered by Equip).
- Provide evidence-based family, individual, and group therapy for eating disorders and comorbid diagnoses in a virtual clinic (i.e. telehealth) setting.
- Implement family-based treatment (FBT), enhanced cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT-E), cognitive behavioral therapy for ARFID (CBT-AR), and other evidence-based treatments for patients across the lifespan with eating disorders and their loved ones.
- Maintain a patient caseload as assigned to assess, diagnose, and treat mental health conditions.
- Participate in continuous training, supervision, department meetings, and other administrative tasks as required.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team of medical providers, dietitians, patient mentors, and family mentors, along with outside providers.
- Utilize between-session messaging to support patients and communicate with the treatment team through Equip’s EMR in accordance with Equip’s policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Completion of Master’s degree or doctoral degree program in mental health field and be associate license-eligible or in process of obtaining associate license in New York (marriage and family therapy, social work, professional counseling, psychology, etc.).
- Willingness to support, with supervision, a caseload of patients of all ages, co-occurring conditions, backgrounds and cultures, and with varying degrees of acuity.
- Passion for evidence-based care and treatment.
- Enthusiastic, strong team player.
- Ability to safely and effectively deliver care in a virtual setting.
- Passion for mental health and eating disorder treatment and expanding access to treatment.

Additional Information
- Work is performed 100% from home with no requirement to travel. This is a stationary position that requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards as well as to talk or hear by telephone. Sit or stand as needed.
- Ability to provide 30 hours a week of availability for direct patient care, including groups, new patients, and follow-up sessions.
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 20 hours of direct patient care after 2 pm in your patient population's time zone throughout the week.
- Ability to commit to working until 7 pm three evenings per week.
- Ability to attend mandatory meetings (i.e Group Supervision, Treatment Huddles, Labs/All Hands, Individual Supervision, etc.).
