About the Role
This role involves partnering with K–12 educators to identify learning goals and recommend tailored solutions that improve academic outcomes using data-driven digital platforms.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage school districts to introduce instructional technology products
- Conduct product demonstrations for educators and administrators
- Assess institutional needs to recommend appropriate learning solutions
- Build long-term relationships with education stakeholders
- Deliver training sessions on platform usage and implementation
- Track and report sales activities and customer interactions
- Support curriculum integration of digital learning tools
- Respond to inquiries from prospective school partners
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of education trends and standards
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve customer onboarding
- Prepare proposals and pricing documentation for clients
- Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention
- Attend education conferences and networking events
- Gather feedback to inform product development priorities
- Promote evidence-based learning tools aligned with state standards
- Work within defined territories to maximize outreach
- Use CRM software to manage customer data and pipelines
- Meet or exceed quarterly sales and engagement targets
- Advocate for student-centered learning solutions
- Support district-wide adoption of digital assessment resources
- Address implementation challenges with practical support
- Stay compliant with education sector sales policies
- Coordinate pilot programs for new clients
- Provide insights on competitive offerings in the market
- Ensure timely follow-up on leads and referrals
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in education or business
- Prior work in a school or district setting
- Experience selling SaaS or EdTech products
- Existing relationships with Oregon educators
- Bilingual communication skills
- Knowledge of federal and state education funding
- Experience with large-scale contract negotiations
