About the Role
This role is responsible for managing employee relations issues, conducting investigations, providing guidance on policies, and ensuring consistent application of standards across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead and resolve complex employee relations cases from initiation to closure
- Conduct thorough, impartial investigations into workplace concerns
- Interpret and apply company policies and employment laws consistently
- Partner with HR colleagues and managers to address performance and conduct issues
- Develop and maintain documentation for cases and outcomes
- Provide guidance on disciplinary actions and corrective measures
- Support efforts to foster a respectful and inclusive work environment
- Identify trends in employee relations data and recommend preventive strategies
- Advise leadership on potential risks related to employee matters
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations and internal standards
- Assist in updating employee handbooks and policy documents
- Train managers on handling employee issues effectively
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity in all case-related activities
- Collaborate with legal counsel when necessary
- Support organizational changes with an employee relations lens
- Promote consistent practices across global teams
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding workplace concerns
- Track and report on employee relations metrics
- Support mediation efforts between employees when appropriate
- Evaluate effectiveness of resolution strategies
- Escalate critical issues to senior HR or leadership as needed
- Ensure alignment between local practices and global HR standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement of employee relations processes
- Support crisis response involving employee conduct or safety
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law developments
