About the Role

This position is responsible for managing payroll data inputs, validating employee records, and ensuring accurate processing across multiple countries in the Americas. The administrator will collaborate with regional teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain compliance with local labor laws.

Responsibilities

  • Process and validate payroll data submissions from various regional sources
  • Identify and correct data discrepancies before payroll runs
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll regulations
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to reconcile employee changes
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive payroll information
  • Support month-end and year-end payroll closing activities
  • Generate reports for management review and audit purposes
  • Troubleshoot payroll system alerts and data errors
  • Assist in the implementation of process improvements for efficiency
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll data in a timely manner
  • Track and document payroll-related issues and resolutions
  • Coordinate with external vendors for data exchange and validation
  • Verify tax withholding accuracy across jurisdictions
  • Update employee records in payroll systems based on official documentation
  • Support audits by providing accurate and timely data records
  • Monitor payroll data workflows to ensure deadlines are met
  • Escalate complex payroll issues to senior team members
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regional payroll requirements
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new payroll team members
  • Ensure data consistency across multiple payroll platforms
  • Participate in system testing during software updates or upgrades
  • Follow data governance policies for payroll information storage
  • Prepare journal entries related to payroll for accounting teams
  • Support payroll tax filings by ensuring clean data input
  • Contribute to documentation of payroll data procedures
