PR Specialist (Remote Contractor) – We're looking for an experienced public relations professional to lead earned media initiatives for a forward-thinking, AI-first organization. This is a fully remote contract position with a focus on building credibility and visibility through authentic media relationships and strategic storytelling.
What You’ll Do
- Secure placements in top-tier media across TV, radio, print, digital outlets, and industry-specific publications—exclusively through non-paid channels
- Develop and pitch compelling narratives that align company leadership, products, and insights with current news cycles and media interests
- Identify and arrange high-reach podcast interviews (1M+ audience) for approved spokespeople
- Research and submit proposals for keynote and panel speaking opportunities at major global conferences
- Create persuasive media materials including press pitches, speaker abstracts, bios, and briefing documents
- Build and manage non-paid influencer partnerships based on mutual value and alignment
- Monitor outreach efforts, track media results, and deliver clear, actionable reporting on reach and impact
What We’re Looking For
- Proven track record in securing earned media coverage without paid placements
- Strong ability to identify compelling story angles that resonate with journalists and producers
- Experience pitching and securing TV, radio, print, and digital media features
- History of placing spokespeople in high-audience podcasts and global speaking events
- Excellent writing skills for diverse PR materials and executive communication
- Self-driven and organized, with the ability to manage outreach from start to finish
- Comfortable engaging with senior leaders and representing them in media contexts
- Skilled in tracking performance and delivering transparent, consistent results

Compensation & Work Environment
