Perficient, Inc. is looking for a Power Platform Senior Solutions Architect to join our Business Applications practice. In this senior leadership role, you will work directly with clients to design and implement technical solutions leveraging Microsoft's Business Applications tools. You will be responsible for the strategic leadership of client engagements, building client relationships, and overseeing a global development team during implementation.
What You'll Do
- Lead cross-functional development teams in designing best-of-class strategies and solutions, and provide oversight of the implementation.
- Actively manage the technical, business, and personnel aspects of consulting engagements.
- Serve as a key member of the solution delivery team by facilitating requirements and design sessions, and producing deliverables.
- Mentor and provide solutions delivery expertise to less experienced team members.
- Serve as an expert on licensing and create financial plans and ROI models that explain the cost implications of adopting the Power Platform.
- Contribute to the creation of project plans and proposals, including estimated level of effort, resource requirements, schedule, and budget.
- Provide thought leadership to help grow the revenue around the Power Platform Practice.
- Contribute to continuously improving the Power Platform practice through the creation of best practices, templates, and demos.
- Actively participate in new business pursuits, working closely with management and Sales teams to develop proposals and deliver client presentations.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of overall related experience with 5+ years in the Microsoft Business Applications Ecosystem.
- 5+ years of consulting experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Power Platform.
- Experience serving as the senior delivery resource for consulting engagements.
- Experience leading teams in Scrum, SAFe, waterfall, and hybrid environments.
- Experience in a sales support role, particularly discovery meetings, demos, roadmaps, and strategy.
- Proven domain expertise with experience building business cases, communicating client-specific value propositions, and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor.
- Experience leading technical discussions with business and technical decision makers, including detailing technical specifications, product roadmaps, deployment, and third-party integrations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven track record in leading teams, troubleshooting, fostering collaboration, and building client relationships.
- Expertise with relational database concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse, and Copilot Studio.
- Active Microsoft certifications (PL-200, PL-400, PL-600, etc.).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Understanding of C#, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, and PowerShell.
- Understanding of Azure development fundamentals.
- Experience using GitHub, Azure DevOps, or other source control management tools.
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
- Systems integration and ETL experience.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Dynamics, RPA and creating generative AI solutions is a plus.
