Corning is looking for a Power Platform Architect to lead the full process of designing and delivering robust business solutions. You will independently develop applications using Microsoft Power Platform and related products to resolve complex issues for internal customers.
What You'll Do
- Provide leadership in the technical design and implementation of enterprise-level applications using Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, and Power BI.
- Develop engineering documentation, including architectural diagrams and operational run books.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements and assess suitability for Power Platform solutions.
- Provide hands-on support for proofs-of-concept and demos to shape solution vision.
- Partner with internal teams to establish and execute governance frameworks for Power Platform applications.
- Develop environment management protocols, security measures, data loss prevention strategies, and optimize licensing.
- Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain new or existing Power Platform solutions.
- Support, troubleshoot, and perform root cause analysis on existing applications.
- Guide backlog, review sprint architecture, and ensure performance, security, and maintainability.
- Remain updated on Power Platform features and best practices.
- Design and implement automated workflows and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) using Power Automate.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft and third-party apps via APIs and connectors.
- Leverage emerging AI capabilities, including Copilot Studio and Azure AI Foundry, and apply Agentic AI approaches.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 10+ years of overall experience working in IT.
- At least 5 years of direct, hands-on experience designing and building solutions with Microsoft Power Platform.
- Proficiency in Power Apps (Canvas Apps), Power Automate, Copilot Studio, AI Builder, PowerShell, Power FX, MS SQL, and Power BI solutions using DAX.
- A strong understanding of Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Familiarity with Azure services, such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure DevOps, and their integration with Power Platform.
- Required Certification: Certified Power Platform Developer Associate or equivalent.
