CAI is hiring a Power BI Administrator

About the Role

The selected candidate will be responsible for administering Power BI environments, supporting report development, enforcing governance policies, and ensuring system reliability and scalability for business users.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and monitor Power BI service instances across the organization
  • Implement and maintain security protocols for data access and sharing
  • Support deployment of reports, datasets, and dashboards to various environments
  • Troubleshoot performance issues in reports and data models
  • Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to streamline data integration
  • Enforce data governance and compliance standards
  • Manage capacity settings and resource allocation in Power BI
  • Maintain documentation for configurations and operational procedures
  • Monitor usage metrics and optimize licensing efficiency
  • Assist in training business users on best practices for self-service reporting
  • Coordinate updates and patches for Power BI infrastructure
  • Configure data gateways and ensure secure connectivity to on-premises sources
  • Perform capacity planning based on growth projections
  • Respond to service outages and implement corrective actions
  • Support integration with Azure and other Microsoft cloud services

Nice to Have

  • Experience with DevOps pipelines for BI deployments
  • Knowledge of data lineage and metadata management tools
  • Familiarity with paginated reports and mobile reporting features
  • Exposure to Power BI embedded analytics scenarios
  • Understanding of AI features within Power BI
