Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is hiring a Postdoctoral Scientist to join the Smidt Heart Institute, working within the laboratory of Dr. Raj Makkar. This role provides an opportunity to engage in impactful research in a dynamic, collaborative setting dedicated to advancing healthcare.
What You'll Do
- Design and perform experiments, maintaining appropriate records and documentation.
- Analyze, interpret, summarize, and compile research data in cooperation with the Principal Investigator.
- Perform routine and complex laboratory procedures throughout the training period.
- Develop, adapt, and implement new research techniques and protocols.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
- May participate in publications and presentations as an author or co-author.
- May assist in the preparation of grant proposals.
- May observe MD-patient or MD-human research subject interactions directly related to the research.
What We're Looking For
- A Doctorate Degree in an area directly related to your field of research specialization.
Team & Environment
You will work independently on research projects designed by a mentor, typically the Principal Investigator, Dr. Raj Makkar, within your area of specialization.
Work Mode
This position requires an onsite work mode.
