About the Role

Eaton Corporation is looking for a Post Sales Support Specialist to resolve EatonCare commercial issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and minimizing resolution costs. You will play a key role in fulfilling customer requirements and resolving warranty concerns by working within established quality and warranty policies.

What You'll Do

  • Utilize the Customer Quality Management (CQM) process for each issue, providing timely input, determining root cause, and ensuring permanent resolution.
  • Follow up to ensure Electronic Warranty Forms (eWarfs) are initiated to Electrical Engineering Services and Systems (EESS).
  • Analyze all CQM warranty issues monthly, raise corrective action requests, and ensure validated solutions are employed.
  • Resolve warranty issues for all distribution and control products sold in Canada and USA, including equipment failure, misfits, nonconformance, and missing parts.
  • Act as a support interface between operations and customers to proactively identify and satisfy their needs.
  • Ensure issue resolution adheres to warranty procedures and policies.
  • Obtain approval from the Product Manager to proceed with sponsoring the resolution.
  • Initiate and coordinate the CQM process.
  • Coordinate with operations to initiate purchase orders authorizing EESS to resolve customer issues.
  • Provide assistance to customers, sales, EESS, and operations to resolve discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with operations should a Return Material Authorization (RMA) be required.
  • Perform other duties or tasks as assigned.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technologist Diploma.
  • Minimum 5 years combined experience in engineering, quality, warranty, and customer service.
  • Minimum of 3 years in the electrical industry.
  • No relocation benefit is offered for this position.
  • Must be able to work in Canada without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.

Nice to Have

  • Strong knowledge of power distribution and control equipment. Exposure to quality and warranty policies.
  • Technical Professional Designation (P.Eng., C.E.T., or C.Tech).
  • Proficiency in the French language.
