Toast is hiring a Portland, OR (Buckman) Territory Account Executive, SMB

About the Role

The Territory Account Executive, SMB role at Toast is a field sales position focused on helping restaurant owners in the Portland, OR (Buckman) area succeed by adopting Toast's digital technology solutions. The individual will prospect, build relationships, manage the full sales cycle, and deliver customized demos to close new business.

What You'll Do

  • Generate list of prospective restaurants and manage the entire sales cycle from initial call to close
  • Conduct demos and develop a solution that best meets the prospect’s needs
  • Partner with teams across the business to ensure that expectations set during the sales process are met in delivery
  • Leverage Salesforce (our CRM) to manage all sales activities
  • Understand the competitive landscape and determine how to best position Toast in the market

What We're Looking For

  • 1+ years of experience in a sourcing or closing sales role, restaurant operations, or a relatable field and industry
  • Must have reliable transportation (will reimburse for mileage)
  • Strong communication, organizational and presentation skills with the ability to sell and negotiate at all decision-making levels
  • Proven track record of success in meeting and exceeding goals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and team environment
  • Self-motivated, creative, and flexible
  • General technical proficiency with software

Compensation includes a base salary range of $128,000—$205,000 USD, uncapped commissions, bonus (if eligible), and equity (if eligible).

Work Mode

Local to Portland, OR (Buckman). Hybrid work model that fosters in-person collaboration while valuing individual needs. Must live local to territory or be willing to relocate.
