Trane Technologies is looking for a Portfolio Leader to manage the Data Center product lines of our commercial Airside equipment offering within the Americas Commercial HVAC sector. You will be fully accountable for achieving revenue growth targets, maintaining market share, and expanding margins by leading a team to develop strategies and manage products throughout their lifecycle.
What You'll Do
- Lead a Product Growth Team (PGT) made up of Product Management, Engineering, and Operations, focused on driving profitable share growth.
- Drive profitable growth by optimizing the balance between deep customer and market understanding with technological capability and competitive advantage.
- Develop and present new business opportunities across multiple time horizons including capacity expansion, strategic technology roadmap, and mobilizing resource commitments.
- Lead the team through the product line review process to ensure portfolio gaps are understood and addressed, managing products throughout the lifecycle.
- Collaborate across the organization to create a customer-oriented, robust strategic growth plan, global business strategy, and product roadmap.
- Provide leadership, talent development and coaching to a team of product management professionals.
- Influence the Operations organization to drive efficient and effective execution to meet customer requirements and delivery schedules.
- Determine pricing objectives, policies, and strategies to balance market share growth and profit margins.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of product management experience in a technical, complex environment.
- Strong overall business acumen, solid financial grounding and a clear understanding of how business operates.
- Best-in-class collaboration and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment and interact/influence all levels of the organization.
- Passion for process improvement with change agent abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership capability specifically in agility, decision making, adaptability, and taking calculated risks; experience managing people and/or influencing across functions.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Up to 40% travel expected.

- MBA is valued.
- A track record of success in the data center market is strongly preferred.
Team & Environment
Reports directly to the Airside Portfolio Director, with a dotted line to the CHVAC Data Center organization.
